"Super serpent samba"

Films: Ren She Da Zhan (1982)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of average snakes.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: If there's anything we should have learned from building on ancient Indian burial grounds, it's that hallowed ground altogether is off-limits to anyone who wants to stay alive. The guys behind a new hotel didn't listen...

History: Somewhere in the east, a hotel is being built on land occupied by many snakes. Almost all of them are killed during construction. But now, the hotel has been cursed because of it. An army of snakes, hundreds strong, have descended on the place, swarming the hallways and attacking anyone unfortunate enough to get in their way.

Notable Kills: Anytime a snake kills someone, it's over-acting all the way.

Final Fate: As the hotel is overrun with snakes, the authorities come in to fumigate and burn it all down, taking the snakes with it. Few survivors are left, man or beast.

Powers/Abilities: Can move at a pace unknown to any serpent.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-Not only are most of these real snakes. Not only do they come in the hundreds. But they are ridiculously fast, and their tenacity is second to none. Still, this is the one film where you can see a man and a python duke it out in a flurry of martial arts.

Trivia: -There is a longer version of this film with a slightly different plotline from South Korea known as "The War Between Man and Snakes".

-In Italy, this film was SOMEHOW marketed as "Zombi 9" at times. We don't even know anymore.
